THE UNIFIED SĀDHANĀ — ESSENTIAL CORE (FINAL FORM) Aspiration - Action Bodhichitta Prayer Contemplate death and impermanence A single continuum of clear light and form --- 1. Foundation — Clear-Light Entry (Capacity 1) Rest effortlessly in the natural state. Nothing to fix, nothing to arrange. Let the body settle, the breath soften, the winds calm themselves. In that stillness, the Primordial Bindu—pure, open, luminous space—appears by itself, the base clarity shining through as grasping relaxes. This is the direct entry into the first capacity, the innate clear light. --- 2. Deity Form — Appearance as Display (Capacity 2) From the field of clear light, form arises effortlessly. Instantly, you appear as Akṣobhya-Vajradhara in union, deep sapphire blue, embraced by the white radiance of Vajradhātviśvarī. Three faces, six arms, every emblem complete: Right hands: vajra, wheel, lotus Left hands: bell, jewel, sword The goddess embraces you, offering a skull cup overflowing with white and clear-light nectar to your white face. THE EIGHT OFFERING GODDESSES — PURE VISUAL SECTION From the five-colored bindu in your heart, eight streams of rainbow light radiate outward. In front of you, in a vast arc of luminosity, the Eight Vajra Offering Goddesses appear — youthful, radiant, each the color of her offering, each dancing lightly in the sky, each holding her symbolic substance. They arise instantly, effortlessly, as the natural display of clear light. --- 1. Vajralāsyā — Goddess of Dance Color: Soft rose-gold Offering: Dance Symbol: Graceful movement, swirling silk She moves with fluid, celestial rhythm, offering the bliss of perfect form and motion. 2. Vajraśabdā — Goddess of Divine Sound Color: Deep violet Offering: Sacred sound Symbol: A vibrating vajra-drum She offers the primordial vibration from which all mantra arises. --- Integration The eight goddesses turn toward you. In a single gesture, they dissolve into eight streams of light which circle your body once clockwise and absorb into your heart-bindu. All offerings become: form → light → clear light → wisdom-field. This completes the offering field of your Akṣobhya-Vajradhara mandala. The mandala is not constructed; it displays itself. The second capacity activates: mind reflects form without fabrication. --- 3. Heart Essence — Inner Architecture (Capacity 3) Turn inward. At the heart-center shines a five-colored bindu, brilliant like a spring rainbow. Inside it sits a thumbnail-sized Akṣobhya-Vajradhara, electric blue, holding vajra and bell. In the heart of that inner deity rests a tiny, dimensionless white bindu—the Secret Being—emanating rainbow light in all directions throughout the universe. This triple structure aligns channels, winds, and bindus, and softens the heart-knot. The third capacity arises: subtle channels open; thigles awaken. --- 4. Method — Vajra Breath in the Central Channel Breathe naturally. Let the subtle resonance of OṂ–ĀḤ–HŪṂ ride the breath like living light in the central channel: OṂ descends as white radiance on the inhale. ĀḤ glows as red presence during the natural pause. HŪṂ ascends as blue luminosity on the exhale. No strain, no technique. Just breath becoming mantra and light. This draws the winds inward and begins their natural dissolution. Perhaps gently retain the vase breath with the "anger vajra" (furrowed brow) to lightly place pressure on the eyes while looking straight through the brow and half-closed eyelids to see the luminous empty form. The Example Clear Light appears as a luminous mass before the brow or a radiant glow everywhere. --- 5. Pivot — Collapse Into Meaning Clear Light (Capacity 4) The entire field softens. Forms melt. Boundaries dissolve. Identity evaporates. A brief flash of astonishment—the system recognizing its own ground. Instantly, everything collapses into Example Clear Light, and from that, the subtle mind recognizes itself: emptiness as knowingness knowingness as luminous emptiness a presence without center, boundary, or position This is the heart-knot opening. The fourth capacity appears: nondual luminosity as subtle appearance — the Meaning Clear Light. --- 6. Fruit — Spontaneous Reappearance (Capacities 5 & 6) From the clear light, without intention or effort— form returns. The deity-mandala reappears, seamless with the clear light that gave rise to it. Appearance is emptiness; emptiness is appearance. This is the Illusory Body: form as empty light; empty light as Buddha-form. Here, the fifth and sixth capacities mature: spontaneous manifestation and continuous union. --- 7. Seal — Integration & Rainbow-Body Trajectory (Capacity 7) Let the deity dissolve into your ordinary appearance. But now form is display. Speech is an echo. Mind is a shooting star. The body becomes hollow, light, pliant. This is the Living Seal: continuous recognition. This begins the long arc of rainbow-body dissolution. Nothing to force. Nothing to fabricate. Just the natural exhaustion of form into light. --- One Sentence Summary Clear light opens → form appears → winds draw inward → clear light flashes → form reappears from clear light → recognition seals. One Gesture Summary Inhale as deity → exhale as clear light → arise again. --- SLEEP YOGA — THE DIRECT PATH --- 1. Evening Preparation Lie down gently in the deity-form. A golden sleeping Buddha posture is equally suitable. At your heart: a five-colored bindu inside it, a thumbnail deity of light within that deity’s heart, a tiny white bindu radiating in all directions Use soft vajra breathing to draw winds into the central channel. This prepares the subtle architecture for clear-light recognition in sleep. --- 2. Midnight — Example Clear Light As you fall asleep, the Example Clear Light naturally appears: a field of pure luminosity, the natural shine of awareness, arising without intention. This corresponds to the internal “midnight” dissolution of the winds. Do nothing. Simply let sleep take you while resting in the luminosity. The example clearlight appearances will occur in dreams and affect your perception of the environment and inhabitants. At midnight one has dreams related with one's good and bad karmic proclivities. Nearing the dawn, dreams of clear light, lucid Clarity and such occur along with pure environments and inhabitants. One begins to see the meaning clear light, dreams cut off and you rest deeper. And one can sleep in the meaning clear light, dreamlessly. --- 3. Dawn — Meaning Clear Light Upon awakening—before opening the eyes—recognize: a transparent, centerless knowing, spacious and luminous, empty and awake. This is the natural “dawn” return of the deepest mind. Recognize, without grasping. This is the Meaning Clear Light. Then arise as the deity-form, and with divine pride, meet the world as sacred display. --- The Recognition The luminosity at midnight and the empty knowing at dawn are one nature. Midnight = appearance of clear light Dawn = nature of clear light Both reveal the same ground. --- The Key The clear light is constant. The appearing luminosity is the empty knowing itself. --- The Essence Heart-bindu → luminous appearance → recognition → sleep completes the path. --- THE SEVEN CAPACITIES — PROSE EXPLANATION --- 1. Clear-Light Entry When winds settle, the base clear light shines: effortless, bright, open. A doorway, not yet the final depth. --- 2. Effortless Reflection Mind reflects forms—deity, bindu, mandala—without construction. Appearance becomes display. --- 3. Subtle Architecture Awakens Thigles pulse. Microchannels open. The body grows transparent. Winds gather inward. Energy becomes intelligent. --- 4. Meaning Clear Light Emptiness and knowingness appear as inseparable— like awareness and space. A luminous, formless presence without subject or object. --- 5. Spontaneous Appearance From clear light, forms reappear effortlessly: bindus, radiances, deities. Display without construction. --- 6. Union Appearance and emptiness become a single continuum. Empty form is light; empty light is form. --- 7. Rainbow-Body Trajectory Speech becomes echo. Thoughts leave no trace. Dreams lucent or cease. The body grows hollow, luminous. Elements dissolve. Dissolution into light has begun. --- The Whole Arc Clear light opens → form reflects → subtle body awakens → luminosity becomes nondual → appearance re-manifests → union stabilizes → form dissolves into light. A single gesture of awareness recognizing itself. ... ŚRĪ DEVĪ — CONCISE VISUALIZATION FOR ACTIVITY & PROTECTION In the space before you, appearing effortlessly from the field of luminous emptiness, Śrī Devī manifests in her wrathful, royal form. She is blue-black, blazing with fierce, compassionate power, riding her gray mule that stands upon a swirling sea of blood-red light — the field of samsaric obstruction she subdues. Her right hand wields a vajra-scepter, brilliant and electric. Her left hand holds the black disease-bag, the container of karmic impurities she neutralizes. Her hair streams upward like dark flame. She looks directly at you, fully aware, fully present. --- Request From your heart, without words: Request her activity, protection, removal of obstacles, or any specific support: clearing subtle wind blockages stabilizing clear-light sleep guarding the dream state cutting karmic disturbances protecting the sādhana aiding dissolution removing fear or doubt empowering the seven capacities or anything else needed now Her mule stamps once — a sign of movement. The syllable བྷྱོཿ in her heart vibrates. Her wrathful compassion activates instantly. Whatever activity is requested is undertaken without hesitation. --- Tea Offering (Optional, Pure Form) You may emanate a small skull-cup of luminous tea from your heart-bindu, offered respectfully. She accepts. This seals the relationship. --- Integration She dissolves into blue-black light, returning to your own heart-bindu, merging inseparably into your continuum. Your field is protected, stable, and sealed. --- Dedication Bodhichitta Prayer Empowering and multiplying mantras
